Two British Airways staff have tested positive for coronavirus, the airline has confirmed.
The pair are understood to be baggage handlers although their airport of work has not been disclosed.
BA said in a statement: “Public Health England (PHE) has confirmed that two members of our staff have tested positive for the Covid-19 virus. The colleagues have been isolated and are recovering at home.”
The number of coronavirus cases in the UK has now reached 163 – a rise of 48 since Thursday – with more than 20,000 people tested.
