Robin Segal has taken up the newly created role which the Group said would help “support and strengthen” its agent ties in the region.
The company added that it had been working to develop its Airways Holidays brand to a wider audience after “traditionally” being seen as more popular in the north of the country.
The Group said its success at growing Airways to a larger clientele had been “underlined by supplier agreements with Tui and Thomas Cook" as well as "regional multiples”.
“Robin will play a key role as we target further growth from agents around key south of England airports that serve the Channel Islands,” the company added.
