The North America and Worldwide programme from the escorted tours specialist features a range of “authentic experiences”, among them giving travellers the chance to emulate Dolly Parton and Elvis by recording their own track at Studio B in Nashville.
“It’s all about authentic experiences,” head of product and commercial Rob Goodwin told TTG. “A really important asset of ours is the local knowledge and expertise our tour directors have and ‘local favourites’ is all about showcasing that.”
The brochure will sport new “destination pages” equipped with travel information for each region with flight durations, national currencies and time differences all detailed – putting the trade at the heart of the redesign, according to Goodwin.
“Sometimes when all the information is at the front, it can just get lost,” he said. “With the new design we’ve broken it up and made it easier for agents to be able to find what they need for each destination. The trade is so important to us and this is a way we can support it.”
The 2017 range has been released by the operator two months earlier than its predecessor to account for a busy US market.
“It was a case of ‘we have the product, why don’t we get it out to market as soon as we can?’ The destinations are getting more popular so we wanted to make sure customers had as much time as they needed to plan and then book,” added Goodwin.
Another feature is the introduction of complimentary home chauffeuring on departure and return. Cosmos is currently running an early-booking deal for agents to offer clients a discount of £200 per couple on new bookings made before June 17.
