The schedule now includes two brand new routes, Edinburgh -Liverpool and Southampton – Dusseldorf. Other changes include the return of a direct daily service between Exeter and Glasgow, as well as added extra frequency on 20 existing routes, including the resumption of twice daily flights between Southampton and Guernsey.
Frequency also increases on a number of routes from Birmingham and Manchester plus there are more flights from London City and Belfast City to Edinburgh.
From Birmingham, Flybe will operate 17 routes during winter. Highlights include extra flights to Amsterdam, which will now operate up to five times a day, with extra daily flights to Aberdeen, Dusseldorf, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Milan and Stuttgart during peak winter periods and the return of the weekly Saturday ski service to Chambery from December 19.
From Manchester, Flybe will this winter offer 16 routes, operating more flights to Amsterdam than any competitor, with the tripling of frequencies to six a day. Flybe has also added capacity to both Paris Charles de Gaulle and Dusseldorf to benefit business travel, while the airline’s routes to Nantes will operate over Christmas and New Year.
