Browne, who was recently honoured for her Outstanding Contribution to the Industry at the TTG Travel Awards, will join the carrier on January 1, 2016.
Browne was most recently Tui Aviation’s chief operating officer before stepping down in July. She had been at the company in a variety of roles for 16 years.

John Barton, chair of easyJet said: "I and the easyJet team are delighted to welcome Chris as a non-executive director.
“She has an impressive track record in the aviation and travel industries with particularly strong operational and strategic expertise. I also know that she will fit very easily into the easyJet culture.”
Easyjet also announced that John Browett will step down from his position on December 31.
