Hilton joined the travel and event company in November 2018 as a consultant, heading up Private Travel, TAG’s leisure division.
Hilton will now also oversee the UK’s supplier relations, fares desk, corporate sales and marketing teams, managing all supplier relationships, corporate new business and marketing activities.
She said: “The company has so many opportunities ahead and a tremendous talented group of individuals to help us to get there.
“I look forward to working closely with Jodie and the UK management team to further expand TAG’s long-lasting partnerships with airlines, ground suppliers and tourist boards, as well as drive new business for corporate and oversee TAG’s brand. The future is bright, and I’m fortunate to be a part of it.”
Jodie Edwards-Locke, managing director UK, added: “Since joining TAG, it was clear that Ruth’s experience and knowledge were going to be an asset to the team. Ruth has done an outstanding job restructuring Private Travel, and I was confident she was the right person to take on this challenging new role at TAG. Hilton will continue to be based in Manchester and report to Edwards-Locke.
