The low-cost carrier reported a 12% year-on-year rise in its overall passenger numbers in February to almost 2.1 million.
The airline’s load factor was also up 0.7 percentage points to 86.3%.
Norwegian chief executive, Bjørn Kjos, said: “We are very pleased to see that more passengers chose to fly Norwegian in February.
“The growth is primarily driven by our intercontinental traffic, which is becoming increasingly important in the company’s global expansion.”
Norwegian said it had operated 99.6% of its scheduled flights last month with 73.6% departing on time.
