Entitled The Cruise, the line said the programme would reveal “what life is like for crew and guests” onboard the 3,560-passenger Regal Princess, as it sails through northern Europe and Russia.
The programme is different to The Cruise Ship, which was set on Royal Princess, and aired in 2014.
Downton Abbey’s Hugh Bonneville will voice the new show, with production given access to the day-to-day roles of the 1,400-strong crew.
The Cruise will be shown on ITV at 8.30pm.
