Itineraries include Helsinki, Tallinn and Riga; plus Malaysia, Borneo and Singapore, with a separate Costa Rica programme. They all feature as part of the operator’s new offerings for 2017.
“We use our experience of more than 30 years in the industry to constantly listen to our customers’ feedback, look at trends in the market and research cultural interests to decide on where to embark on new tours,” marketing director Ben Hitchcock said. “We’re thrilled to be able to offer these three new tours for 2017.”
The 11-day Costa Rica itinerary, described by Riviera as a “nature lover’s dream”, will include a trip to the remote Cano Negro Wildlife Refuge, a three-night stay overlooking the Manuel Antonio national park and a chance to tour the capital San Jose.
Meanwhile, the eight-day Helsinki, Tallinn and Riga offering includes a guided outing around the Finnish capital featuring a visit to the Suomenlinna Fortress, then heading over to Tallinn and its Medieval Lower Town before finishing up in Latvia at Riga’s Historic Centre.
Riviera’s Malaysia, Borneo and Singapore tour gives clients the chance to explore the Asian destinations over 14 days.
Arriving in Malaysia, travellers can visit George Town, the state capital of Penang, and its British colonial buildings by cycle rickshaw, before flying to Borneo to visit the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre.
The tour ends after a two-night stop in Singapore, including a tour of the city’s Botanical Gardens.
