Purchased through the pre-cruise planner for $24.99pp per day, guests can enjoy priority embarkation and debarkation, as well as exclusive carry-on luggage service, a VIP welcome lunch in Chops Grille and private access to onboard activities such as FlowRider, the ice-skating rink and Voom Surf and Stream and more.
Meanwhile, for every Royal booking Club Rewards members make on 2019 sailings from Southampton onboard Independence of the Seas or Explorer of the Seas, they will receive double the money until March 4.
This means that in addition to commission, Club Rewards members will receive £10 for an Interior or Oceanview stateroom booking, £15 for every Balcony stateroom and £20 for every suite.
Elsewhere, Royal has also opened applications for its first Shore Explorer apprenticeship, with both consumers and agents eligible to apply.
Applications are being taken strictly via Instagram for the role, which will see one successful candidate embark on a global trip to test new land-based experiences.
Their journey will influence Royal’s shore excursion programme from 2019 and beyond.
The apprentice’s daily tasks will involve capturing their experiences on Instagram, Instagram Stories and Instagram TV. They will be paid £2,000 per week for three weeks.
Royal said the initiative built on the success of its “Intern-ship of the Seas” programme two years ago.
The apprentice will be one of the first to visit Royal’s new and exclusive private island in the Caribbean, Perfect Day at CocoCay, set to open in May 2019.
Ben Bouldin, managing director Royal Caribbean International UK & Ireland, said: “Our agents work so hard to promote our incredible on-land experiences that guests can enjoy as part of our cruise holidays, so it’s fantastic we are able to offer them the opportunity to help influence and curate our shore excursion programme for 2019 and beyond.”
To apply, applicants need to share their favourite travel experience in a picture or video on Instagram, Instagram Stories or Instagram TV tagging #ShoreExplorer and @RoyalCaribbeanUK. All entrants must be at least 21, hold a valid passport and be able to travel this year.
