The Adventure Travel Conference, which takes place alongside the Adventure Travel Show at London’s Olympia next month, is now in its third year, with TTG Media once again the trade media partner.
The results of the annual survey, which combines the views of consumers, tour operators and travel agents, and looks at booking patterns and future intentions, will be revealed at the conference.
“In light of the security and safety issues in the last 12 months, it will be interesting to see which destinations are up and down for the adventure traveller,” said Lyn Hughes, editor-in-chief of Wanderlust magazine, the conference’s consumer media partner.
“Adventure travellers tend to be the first back into a destination, but with all that’s happening in the world it will be interesting to see if it puts a different perspective on it,” she added.
Agents are invited to take the five-minute survey online for the chance to attend the afternoon sessions of the conference (from 2pm), when the content is most relevant to agents.
These sessions will look at different client types, such as the solo traveller, family traveller and silver traveller, and how to find and communicate with them. The winning agents will also be invited to the networking drinks after the conference, when they will be able to meet a range of adventure travel suppliers.
Full-price tickets for the entire day cost from £160. Details of sessions and speakers are at adventuretravelconference.co.uk
