ST Fly will service the needs of the travelling student community, offering flights, packages, tours and experiences to the 18-30+ student travel and youth adventure market, while ST Sports will offer packages to sports enthusiasts looking to travel the world playing sports or watching major events such as the Grand Prix, international cricket and rugby.
The addition of ST Fly and ST Sports, which will launch over the coming weeks, will bring the group’s consumer facing portfolio to six.
Following the appointment of Paul Wait as chief operating officer, Richard Axelsen, Michael Robinson and Steve Watson have now joined the business to lead the ST Sports launch, while former sales director at STA Travel, Jackie Knell, has been appointed on a consultancy basis to launch ST Fly.
Additional sales staff are also currently being hired in order to support the ST Fly brand.
