The agency was named 164th in the league of 200 companies that have achieved at least 5% of sales from abroad and total sales of at least £25 million. Travel Counsellors grew its international sales by 24.5% last year.
The independent agency now has 1,000 home-based Travel Counsellors in the UK. “It’s great to know that I have the back up and support of an international company whilst running my own business, and this accolade reaffirms our continued success and growth.”
Travel Counsellors’ international sales increased by 86% over the past three years. The company has previously won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in 2014.
Last year the company was named in The Sunday Times Grant Thornton Top Track 250 Ones to Watch league table, ranking Britain’s mid-market growth private companies with the biggest sales.
