The consortium’s Beyond the Expected-themed event will run from March 21-24 in Budapest across the Hungarian capital’s central Intercontinental and Sofitel hotels, and with members staying onboard AmaWaterways’ AmaCerto, AmaViola and AmaSonata, moored on the Danube.
All delegates will get to dine onboard and sail on an "illuminations cruise".
The conference’s opening session from TTNG chief executive Gary Lewis will focus on what the consortium has delivered for its members in the 18 months since the last conference, including successes and challenges.
There will also be a session with five members on stage.
Lewis told TTG he would be sharing TTNG’s renewed “vision and purpose”, including discussing its new ICS (Institute of Customer Service) score, granted at the end of February; cementing customer service and experience as a key pillar for members; and extensive “tech commitments”.
Lewis said TTNG would also be revealing details of a “new structure” for the consortium.
Guest speakers at the conference will include yacht racer Brendan Hall, mountaineer Bonita Norris and ex-Team GB rower Rachel Woolf.
Meanwhile, TTNG has welcomed a new three-branch member to its ranks. Owen’s Travelmaster has moved over from the Advantage Travel Partnership.
Owen’s was founded by Michael Owen in Oswestry in the early 1990s and has expanded to three agencies – two in Shropshire and another over the Welsh border in Powys.
General manager Vanessa Bird said: “With Worldchoice, we feel the chemistry with the team was right from the outset.
“Changing consortia has not been a quick decision for us, but we felt it was time.”
