Four people have been killed in a suicide bomb attack in Istanbul’s major shopping and tourism district.
Another 20 people were injured, three seriously so, and taken to hospital following the attack on Istikal Street at 11am local time this morning.
The Turkish government has blamed so-called Islamic State for the atrocity.
Three Israelis and one Iranian died in the attack.
The Foreign Office urged Brits to "avoid the area and follow instructions given by Turkish security forces."
