The UK accommodation specialists, part of Wyndham Vacation Rentals, said bookings had risen by 15% over the past year, thanks to investment in systems, analytics and marketing.
Managing director Simon Altham added that Brexit had also been a minor factor in sending people towards its properties this year, as the fall in the pound made domestic holidays more attractive.
He admitted, however, that the outcome of the EU referendum would likely lead to a year of uncertainty across the travel sector.
“But we’re a tough industry – we have weathered many storms and we have traded well both in and out of recessions,” Altham told the audience of more than 400 at the Hilton Metropole in Birmingham.
“This year has been a spectacular year of growth for the business, with unprecedented levels of investment. Together we can weather any storm.”
The business has hosted 350 travel agents on fam trips over the past year and sees the trade channel and third-party partnerships as a central part of its growth strategy.
Hoseasons is focusing on three areas as it seeks to drive new business: maintaining a brand customers can trust; inspiring them through its marketing; and providing them with a seamless experience.
Hot tubs are now a key driver of growth in the properties, with a third of all bookings through Hoseasons now for properties with a tub.
The brand is pushing out a new marketing campaign called Hot Tub Heaven – including TV advertising – in the coming months.
