Jones who has previously held senior roles at Thomas Cook and Travelsoon, initially joined Magic Rooms as managing director for commercial, supply and sales 18 months ago.
In a statement issued by the group it said Jones had delivered strong sales growth in a crowded market place, driven by improved product selection and strengthened supply chains as well as new focus on yield management.
The company’s new senior team will see Dave Green take on the new position of group operations director, responsible for product, supply and sales.
Peter Redwood will take the position of group finance director, and will take on full finance responsibility for Magic Rooms and Holiday Malta.
The creation of Magic Travel Group was announced in June created after the merger of Holiday Malta - owner of Belleair Holidays - and Magic Rooms.
