Police are investigating the suspicious death of a man at Malaga airport, who was found semi naked on a bench outside the terminal on Friday morning.
The man, named as Steven Allford, 51, was found bound to the bench naked from the waist down with ham and a tuna tin placed on his body. Police suspect he may have been strangled and could also have been the victim of a sex assault. Cable ties had been used to secure one of the man’s arm and a leg to the bench.
The body was found next to belongings on a luggage trolley near the airport’s railway station. It is not known whether he had been intending to catch a flight or had been sleeping rough.
