Explora III has officially been delivered, marking the third addition to the luxury ocean line’s fleet.
The Liquefied Natural Gas-powered vessel is 19.2 metres longer than its predecessors, making it one of the most spacious cruise ships in the world.
It also has multiple new concepts, including the introduction of dining venues The Cellar, The Chef’s Table and Shore Club, as well as the expansion of its spa and wellness facilities.
Explora III embarked on its five-night Mediterranean Prelude Journey from Genoa to Civitavecchia in Rome on Friday (25 July), and will sail to Barcelona for its official naming ceremony on 1 August.
It will then embark on its maiden voyage to Lisbon on 3 August, launching its inaugural season across Northern Europe, Iceland, Greenland, and North America.
