The panel, at 2pm, will include Rosana Morillo, tourism director of the Balearic Islands and Carol Hay, representative of the Caribbean Tourism Organization’s UK Chapter.
In a discussion moderated by TTG group editor Pippa Jacks, the tourism bosses will describe how local hotel, operators and other providers are adapting their products and services to meet new health and safety requirements; why UK travel professionals should feel confident to send their clients there; and how local governments are supporting their tourist industries both on the ground and through engagement and communications with key source markets.
The seminar will take place on Zoom and pre-registration is required.
TTG’s second Digital Destinations Festival takes place 15-22 June and also includes a training event on Wednesday 17 June from 9.30am -11.30am.
At this event, travel agents and tour operators will hear presentations from all six of TTG’s destination partners: The Beaches of Fort Myers and Sanibel; IDM South Tyrol; Samoa Tourism Authority; Atlantic Canada; Jamaica Tourist Board; and Tourism & Events Queensland.
Delegates can register for both the Monday seminar and Wednesday training event here.
